Robotics at Tartesso Elementary School

The Robotics team competed at Tartesso  Elementary School in their first competition of the season. This first tournament was a skills competition in which teams show their programming and driving skills without a partner or alliance. The North Pointe team consists of four individual groups within itself: 6064,6064B,6064C,and 6064D. Out of the competition, two robots placed in the Top 10; 6064 composed of Alexis Limon, Joana Vargas, and Angelica Bosquez, placed 6th place and 6064B ;composed of Christian Espinal and Courtney Banks, placed 10th in the tournament. The other two groups 6064C, composed of Kendra Miller and Deanna Brown, placed 12th and coming in 13th was 6064D, composed of Mario Montoya, Alfonso Martinez, Gabe Scelzo, Tara Cameron, and Mackenzie Talbert. As Ms.Gorosics says, “I am very proud of the students, they have a great start this year and we will continue to progress throughout the rest of the season.”
